Customer Gallery - Pysanky or Ukranian Eggs....

Pysanky or Ukranian Eggs are to quote Wikipedia...

" A pysanka (Ukrainian: писанка, plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using a wax-resist (batik) method. The word comes from the verb pysaty, "to write", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. The word pysanka refers specifically to an egg decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs, and is not a generic term for any egg decorated using wax resist."

We have a lot of customers who decorate our egg shells in this method. And we encourgae them to send us photos of their work, a short biography of the artist and how viewers can contact them so we may share these with our viewers. Submitted information should be emailed to eggs@rosefamilyfarms.com. Please mention in your email that we have permission to post your pictures and info. Please remember we can only post those artists that purchase their shells from us. Rose Family Farms reserves the right choose which submissions are posted. Also we ask that artists only submit uncopyrighted pictures of their own works.
